原计划2020年7月份在温哥华举行的美国医学物理师协会年会,  因为COVID-19疫情全部改为虚拟会议。中科大放射医学物理中心提交了6篇论文，全部被录取，其中两篇被列为Blue  Ribbon（口头报告）。这6篇论文涵盖了核磁引导放疗、智能化医学图像处理、快速蒙特卡罗计算等放疗前沿研究。

AAPM是世界最大的医学物理师协会，  全世界有1万会员，  每年在北美举办年会。AAPM年会是国际医学物理界顶级会议之一，会议内容涵盖临床放疗计划、质量控制、粒子放疗和辐射防护等诸多研究领域，会议报告代表着各领域研究的发展方向和最新成果。此次会议的主题是“建立桥梁、增强安全、提升价值”，提供了科学、教育与专业的专题讨论会，涵盖了医学物理的各个方面。
